Man this brings me back to 2002 when I was really looking for music that had some actual content as opposed to all the other "shiny plastic underworld" style music I had access to that was completely content-free (what the fuck does "I don't ever want to hear you say that I want it that way" supposed to mean?? Either it means nothing good or it means nothing at all, so fuck off????) Like I want to hear someone trying to say something and do something and have an opinion about something and make artistic choices. Back then before they got poisoned by being rich the White Stripes came out strong with all that stuff.
