Also, this reminds me of the video of the live, acoustic version that A-Ha performed on MTV Unplugged, not too long ago, which was the first time I had ever really paid attention to the lyrics. (And which convinced me that Morten Harket is actually an elf lord.)
And then I’m reminded by the awesome version by Ninja Sex Party (which also introduced me to Tupperware Remix Party)!
I think both of these were also posted on MeFi.
Dang, I’ve been introduced to a lot of good music on the Blue!

The maker of this video did not-redub the lyrics, but a user, Incognitus, wrote some for v2.
Someone has to get A-Ha to record this. Can someone contact A-ha? Can we set up a gofundme for a-ha's choice of charity and get them to do it?

No matter my mood, if I watch it, I am having belly laughs before it's over.

"G#%!y sluts" is a phrase that has entered our lexicon and is always delightful (apparently I can't say the G word even in a quote... didn't know that. But it's sort of synonymous with the Roma ethnic group). I'm so sorry you missed the glory days of the beginning of the internet and youtube!
