I've laid papers on the table in the other room sometimes.

Oblivion NPC Dialogue (YouTube Live Stream). It's better if I don't describe it, but you can read about it first at Kotaku if you prefer.
I have not watched this before.
But I saw you watching it yesterday.
That was a holiday.
Ah!

I'm surprised the Kotaku article didn't do even basic research on the source material. It's from a video series called "At Home with English, made by an ESL teacher from Austin Texas named Greg Thompson. Here's a nice interview with the guy from 2009, apparently he was already a meme in a few circles but has since been resurrected after 10+ years in dormancy. I can't seem to find info as to whether he's still alive, I'm sure he'd be tickled to see his work come back into internet consciousness.

My jaw dropped when I saw this. Yes, this guy was all over Austin local access TV in the 90s. I stopped whatever I was doing and watched it if I was channel surfing and his videos were running.

Thanks for the background, Philipschall. I used it to add a few tags to the post. In Kotaku's defense, the author said he thought the whole thing was more delightful if you don't know anything about where the video comes from. I kind of agree, but Greg Thompson deserves a credit somewhere.

Did you know there is a boy playing the cello behind you?
Yes. I did know that.
Why is he there? This vignette is about you bumping into the table and hurting your knee. The boy with the cello plays no part in it at all.
I don’t know why he is there. I have asked him several times, but he will not explain himself.
Is he often there?
He has been there five times this month. I have tried to get him to leave, but he won’t go away.

The youtube livechat is really fun right now, reminds me of a Rocky Horror/The Room type crowd already.
