Even a pandemic couldn't hold them back: it's time to honor the 2021 Minnesota State High School All Hockey Hair Team.

Even the lack of fans at the rink couldn't hold back the magnificent flow. Unfortunately, masks covered up even the most righteous of bad teenage mustaches this year...something to look forward to in 2022.

The All Hockey Hair Team does more than just showcase the best of one of Minnesota's minor ice-related sports (the cultivation and care of magnificent hockey hair). The video and its sponsors support the Hendrickson foundation, which brings Special, Sled, Blind, and Military hockey to the state of Minnesota. Hockey is for everyone, and Hockey Hair is a beautiful thing.

Quite honestly -- is this video narrated by Howard Mohr of How to Talk Minnesotan fame? Because the accent and deadpan delivery shine as brightly as these young athletes' flowing mullets.

There was a message flashed for a few frames at 8:31 in the video:

A golden egg lies in wait outside Xcel Energy Center on Easter morn. The egg will reveal itself at the stroke of 9:00am. Finding the egg is only half the quest.
