Geese where I live are more likely to cut you open and leave you to bleed out than listen attentively. I admire this man's courage.

Yep, I am pretty sure this wouldn’t go so well with Canadian Geese, who are only outranked in my asshole waterfowl scale by mute swans.

I am pretty sure these Canadian geese are pets. You can hear the context of this in the conversation in Mandarin.

If you do not have an Instagram acccount, you can use Picuki.com (alt links for this FPP here and here).

Bibliogram, free/open source software with public instances listed here, is another alternative.

Both depend on Facebook/Instagram's public API, which is, of course, not guaranteed.

Maybe it's just that I grew up around them, but I find Canada Geese to be much nicer than the raccoon-eyed jackasses that are down here in South Florida. The geese of my youth would give fair warning whenever they became uncomfortable, but the bastards around here will totally bum rush you with no warning. They're also aggressive towards other waterfowl, while the Canada Geese I've seen don't start shit, they just finish it if it happens.

The ducks, on the other hand, keep their asshole behavior between themselves. If anything, they are too tame with humans. They just stand there a couple of feet away seemingly without a care in the world.

One nice thing about having a large dog is that the geese are wary enough of him that they'll just honk from across the parking lot.

The combination of the geese showing their appreciation and the harmonica sounded uncannily like how men in traditional Bavarian dances yell (example here -- I wish I had some idea what to call it but my Google search results for [bayerische jahuhu tanzen] resulted in nothing at all).

You missed the bit where the geese said, "WHO SAID YOU COULD STOP PLAYING?"

I'm still fond of Mariachi for a beluga whale.

The tune he was playing was a classic from Teresa Teng -- "The Moon Speaks of My Heart".

That beluga kept squishing its melon against the glass. I wonder if it was ultrasonically harmonizing along with the band. It did seem as if it was swaying -- swimming? -- in time to their rhythm.

I knew that man playing trombone for cows from my Facebook feed but hadn't scrolled down from that YouTube clip until after I posted it here. It is a whole genre indeed.
