When this old world starts getting me down...

A PSA aimed at emotionally-struggling young people, built around the song "Up on the Roof" (written by Carole King, first popularized by the Drifters) started as an idea Kate Morris had after her barn burned down, and then got unexpected support from many quarters, up to and including an invitation to the White House.
i want to exit into the mountains of the pacific northwest to join a sexually and racially diverse militia of photogenic zillennials and wage guerilla warfare on industrial society and in particular the bay area. i think that would fix me mentally

> Morris, who is married to Eagle co-owner Hans Morris…
(this article was published in a paper called the Berkshire Eagle)
> All the while, scouring TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, Morris and her team sought out young people who might be a good fit. “Good fit” meant people struggling for footing in this world and in need of a song to sing.
> The crew and performers did all this work for almost nothing. The goodwill, in turn, radiated throughout the complicated, cross-country production.
The “John C And Katherine M Morris Foundation” seems to be worth at least about 3.5 million if I’m reading http://www.nonprofitfacts.com/MA/John-C-Katherine-M-Morris-Foundation-Inc.html#overview correctly. You’d think she could fan out a little something to the “struggling” content producers she found on social networks.
I am wondering just what kind of business this foundation got its money from. Hans Morris is described as a “venture capitalist” in an article about the Berkshire Eagle getting bought. https://theberkshireedge.com/33351-2/
Really this whole article kind of reads as “rich lady brags about how good she is at getting people to work for free” to me.
