Trevor stomps a dub

Trevor Kennison (@trevor_kennison) is a sit-ski freeskier. He is paralyzed from the waist down. The trailer for his upcoming film dropped today...which chronicles his return to the spot where he was paralyzed...and where he attempts a world first double backflip on a sit ski.

Trevor was also the first adaptive athlete to hit the big air jump at the X-Games. And he does wild things at Corbet's Couloir. Additional footage of Day One of the filming.

Bonus: The Kings & Queens of Corbet's was held this week. Veronica Paulson became the female to attempt a double backflip into Corbet's. People's choice voting is open - with videos of each athlete. Much stoke.

I must have watched the trailer 20 times already. The arms as he spins. Legit flying.

Trevor STOMPED that Corbet's landing. The bounce on the shock-absorbed sitski was, as they say, STEEZE AS FUCK.

And Trevor just posted the full jump on his instagram in a reel. LFG indeed.

Holy hell! My kids are freeskiers/ snowboarders, and I know some of the fears, preparation, practice, agony, etc. goes into progressing in the sport. I can't even imagine what it takes to get to that level after being paralyzed in the same sport.

[My oldest son at 17 is a great skier, but having had knee surgery it is clear that he is struggling taking his biggest tricks back to snow. He can execute perfect dubs on airbag, but can't really get over whatever he needs to execute on snow. As a parent advice is pretty much just stay safe and have fun.]

And don't get me started on people making comments about kids having no fear.
