[SLYT, Repost] One Day Like This, by Elbow, eventually reached #4 in the UK singles chart in 2012. Their 2011 Glastonbury performance of this song, and at the same festival six years later. [title from comment in original post]

Love me some Elbow. This is one of the most reliably goosebump-inducing performances I've seen. It's going really really great and then the chorus and brass come in about 3/4 in and the whole thing just goes nova. (I really want to share my amazed-ness with someone as I pick up my jaw from the floor for the hundredth time.)

Both of these Elbow tunes -- and many others -- have stopped me in my tracks at one time or another, but their version of "Kindling" with John Grant is my go-to when I want to experience all the feels.

I'm pretty partial to Any Day Now which sounds like Pink Floyd covering Blue Jay Way.

We had a missed chance to come full circle with this post - there was an official video of their 2022 performance at Glastonbury which had a stunning giant puppet finale.

The closest I can find is this fan-shot video, with not the best sound quality.
