The game silently autocorrects up to one letter, which is theory is nice but if you're not paying attention it can make you think you correctly named a station "Blarglewick" (name changed to avoid spoilers) when in fact you were thinking of "Blarglewick Road" and it ticked off "Blanglewick" which you've never passed through and is on the other side of the city.
Anyway, 13.8% so far but I spend more time on national rail and I need to remember to eat today.

"East Ham" is a useful bit of Tube-derived British slang, used to cordially suggest that someone is behaving in a crazy way. Why? Because, on London's District & City line, East Ham is "one stop short of Barking".

Fun! Got up to 45% without having to cheat, which I'm quite pleased with as it's 20 years since I left London, and this thing includes all the obscure overground stops as well as the new stations and lines that didn't exist when I was there. Annoyingly I was one off perfect on the Victoria Line, but the second to last stop southbound evaded me.

Nice! I managed to get to 86.6% on Washington DC, where I live, although I did have to 'cheat' on one occasion because I could not for the life of me figure out what spelling/format it was looking for on the name of one of our stations:
After trying as many spelling variations of "National Airport", "Reagan National Airport", and "Washington Reagan National Airport" as I could possibly think of, it turns out it would only accept "Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport".

As someone who's lived and worked in London for nearly 35 years, I was slightly ashamed to only get 37% before giving up in frustration.

I managed 7% which is mainly the stations that I visit again and again when I go to the capital. It's weird to think I'd do better on the Tokyo ones.

I got to 50% which felt good. I do not know enough stations in the east half of the map.

I'm up to 42%, and I'm keeping the site pinned so I can come back to it now and again. Fortunately it uses local storage to save your game so you don't have to start over if you close everything down.
However: I am at the point where I'm trying to add stations like "Sunhill" and "Walford".

t would only accept "Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport".
It also accepts "DCA", which is how I got it. Weird that it accepts only the full name or the completely abbreviated form.
The one I was annoyed it wouldn't accept was "Grosvenor", which was what it was called way back when I actually lived in he DC area full time. I knew it was "Grosvenor-Strathmore" these days, but it's still Grosvenor to me.
(Also, they apparently renamed White Flint when I wasn't looking, but it still accepts the old name.)

I have to admit that [station name from TV series]* was pretty early in the list of my guesses, though

Walford East, surely?
Thirty years in the Great Wen and I've struggled up to 74%. Damn all this investment in new public transport infrastructure: I can't remember stations I didn't know existed...

Phewww I’ve got to 30% despite it being 20 years since I left from London, and I spent most of my time there living in Hackney before the overground was linked up like it is now, so was more of a bus person. There are several that are paining me - that I know I’ve been through hundreds of times but can’t conjure up. And one that I used to actually get the train from that I could have sworn blind was called Ridley Road but evidently not. But now I don’t want to look it up and “cheat” on the game!
Thanks for sharing, most enjoyable! And now I’ve a longing to be in London.

If you like that Two Ronnies sketch, you might also enjoy Ian Dury's version of The Bus Driver's Prayer:
Our Father, who art in Hendon,
Harrow Road be thy name,
Thy Kingston come,
Thy Wimbledon,
In Erith as it is in Hendon,
Give us this day our Berkhamstead,
And forgive us our Westminsters,
As we forgive those who Westminster against us,
Lead us not into Temple Station,
But deliver us from Ealing,
For thine is the Kingston,
The Purley and the Crawley,
For Iver and Iver,
Crouch End.

The game silently autocorrects up to one letter
The game is completely capricious in DC, where I was guessing at suburban stations, put in the name of a suburb, and got credited for two stations that include that suburb's name, but it would only accept a letter-perfect version of a city station I took about six tries to find (in addition to the shenanigans capricorn and jackbishop found). And I am going to die mad about one suburban station I can't figure out the name for, because I got a service alert from WMATA using the exact station name the game rejects. P
