But what is the plot of IRIS?

IRIS: A Space Opera by Justice (Official Video) [~1h] reminds me a bit of The Chemical Brothers, but I'm sure there are other things going on in here. I liked this enough to post it here.
I guess they stepped up to fill the Daft Punk shaped hole in the world.

Haven't watched it yet, but if Justice is involved, then the end credits should be pretty special!

Thanks hippybear! Justice have this stuck-in-the-80s-French-synths-and-double-denim energy, very silly/very fun.

I don't think it's "stepping up" because Justice are different. Justice has a discography going back to 2007, they co-existed with Daft Punk.

Justice has done a lot of good music videos. The one that's stuck with me through 15 years is the collaboration with Romain Gavras for Stress. It's a disturbing meditation on social justice issues in the Paris suburbs. (Discussed previously). Their DVNO video is a lot different in tone, with glossy graphics to match the pop electronica.

Ah memories...drop a lude, and head to the disco, NYC, circa 1982...

For me, Justice are like an instant time machine to 2007, and the whole "bloghouse" scene over which they exerted a massive influence. Enough time has passed that there's now an excellent cultural history of that moment: Lina Abascal's Never Be Alone Again: How Bloghouse United the Internet and the Dancefloor.
