"We thought we'd have a go ourselves, for the heck of it": The duo who pioneered Australian erotica. The forgotten story of the pioneering Sydney-based creative couple behind the one of the earliest explicit adult films produced in Australia in 1970.

Add your own jokes about the porn equivalent of Crocodile Dundee's "That's not a knife" scene her.

Ha, my US preschool twins watch too much Peppa and Bluey so everything is "can I have a go" for "I want to do it myself". This gave me an extra laugh.

This reminds me that after watching Priscilla Queen of the Desert again I learned about Carlotta and Les Girls. They were a Sydney cabaret show in Kings Cross in the 60s-80s and were apparently quite raunchy. But like a lot of drag shows of the era it was just respectable enough that ordinary folks about town would go for a good time. There's a film of a 1987 performance.

A little off-topic but another part of Australia's opening up to sexual expression in the era.
