Excavating a rare 70-million-year-old dinosaur skeleton in Mongolia. Retrieving the remains of the long-necked Nemegtosaurus In the remote Gobi desert.
It never ceases to amaze me there are places in the world where dinosaur fossils, including egg shards, just litter the ground or can be found by simply walking along with a sharp eye.

I got a degree in Geology, and Paleo was always my favorite thing. I have a few amazing finds. OK, maybe only one, but it was. And when i went to biology after that, took a class in fossil pollen analysis. Was, fascinating. To have stayed with Paleo, and been able to make a find like this? And be able to excavate and document it? Lifetime Achievement. Good Scientist! So cool.
