Donald, do you know what those Germans are up to? Like, comparing everyone and their hamsters to Hitler?
[Spoiler alert: the first comment explains it, for those who don't get it]
From the Babel Fish translation:
ich beiss in meine maus! MEHR DAVON!!!
I bite into my mouse! MORE OF IT!!!
Well that clears it up.

I get the cartoon (and would have, even without the explanation), but I don't see why it merits discussion or a front page post.

I'm guilty too. I'd be interested to see if someone can "translate" what I TRIED to say.

Witty: I got as far as "All aboard the cheese trains", and then it started making even less sense....something about hovercrafts full of eels?

Witty: "Everyody on board the train of the cheese and kick until they fall." :-)
Tacodog: Not a problem. It is also not my second language. That would be more like this: Aequam memento rebus in arduis servare mentem! My third is english then and you have to be brave to jump into this pool here. Ceci n'est pas une ami, UnReality. Oops, fourth. Let's stop this before we get to IDENTIFICATION DIVISION.

Could some explain how to translate all of the above? I tried the Google language tool, but it didn't really help. Or just e-mail me, and you'll get a reward!

Nope, Google does not help with everything. Especially it won't get you the details, for instance the hint to this famous picture. The "Aequam memento" piece however is easy. It is a quote from Horaz, who was born 65 ante christum: "Remember to preserve a tranquil mind amid difficulties." And there is COBOL.
Where is my reward? :-)

And before somebody jumps on me: That was not the original picture, but only derived from it. ;-) There is another hint in there to René Magritte, Belgium's Surrealist artist, who painted a picture of a pipe with the caption: "Ceci n'est pas une pipe". Which translates to: "This is not a pipe". Quite correct, it's not a pipe. It's a picture of a pipe.
