Carson the baby opossum has died. Again. And again.
He was found jammed in the tailpipe of a car and brought to wildlife rehabbers For Fox Sake, where he has grown and thrived, except for all the dying. He even made it to CNN. He will be released to the wild soon, once he is big enough to fend for himself.

Ok, I love Carson and want to snorgle his poor dead self. We routinely have a family of possums that invade our backyard and the kids have scared me so many times with the playing dead routine. I leave them some food and they enjoy my waterfall.

The exercise wheel one kills me. In the same sense it did Carson.
He's a delight and I hope he has a good, long, dramatic life out in the wild once he's released.

Giving Carson some more thought (which isn't a problem because I enjoy thinking about Carson), I think he's the hero we need for the neo-emo revival. He's a great mascot! He's both alive and dead and he understands the drama. Plus the good eye makeup.
