Apart from all the real world depression, this is great.

Monsters acting un-monsterlike and being reasonable and informed and conscientious is definitely my jam. Maybe it's a coping mechanism, but I really dig the juxtiposition of scary monster + politeness and self doubt. It probably says something that my favorite book as a little kid was the one with Grover at the end.

Took me a moment to adjust to the editing style. For the first few minutes, I thought I was watching a series trailer, and then I was like "This is going on a bit too long" before realizing I was halfway through the first episode! Anyway, once I adjusted my rabbit ears, I found it delightful. Many of my wheelhouses contained within. Thanks for sharing.

I did not quite understand about Bigfoot needing to buy two pairs of sneakers until I realized he only has one big foot.

This is charming.

I'm currently drawing a Tarot deck of cryptids crafting, which has led me to think deeply about the divisions between cryptids, monsters, folktales, hoaxes, etc.

So while I wouldn't count a lot of the cast as cryptids, it's a very fun series!

Ok, I said it was charming after having only watched the first couple, now I'm circling back after having watched all of it.

1.) It's still charming.
B.) It's also devastatingly effective praxis.

Also, I will stand with you against the giant space dog that threatens to consume us all.
