This is a haunted game about a haunted game. You've played this game before. You may not remember, but the game does.

You can play through the game once for free, but need to purchase it if you want unlimited replays.

I was delighted to see this is by Natalia Theodoridou. He's published tons of SF/F short fiction in Clarkesworld, Strange Horizons, Uncanny, etc. and also had two Nebula nominations for Best Game Writing for "Rent-a-Vice" and "Vampire: The Masquerade — Sins of the Sires." I also played through the game once and enjoyed the literary references, introspective questions, self-referentiality, etc.

It's like an online Choose Your Own Adventure for adults.

The InteractiveFiction tag would go great with this! Plenty to explore in the MeFi archives if you liked this.

I'm particularly fond of Stay?

But back to the topic of this post: you can actually (re)play for free; you need to wait, though. (It's 20 minutes between games and an enforced 10 minute break in the middle of each playthrough.)
