You Win, I'll Change my Vote [SLYT], a song about political memes
Ever since getting an EV, I no longer see those unfunny "I did that" stickers. I felt that called for a song about the futility of trying to convince people to change their vote via memes and slightly vandalized gas pumps.

Amazing. It makes me dry retch just like real country music.

Idk why people bother using Suno for stuff like this. Not sure if it's an unavoidable artifact of their process or a deliberate stylistic choice they've made, but everything I've heard from them has this very conspicuous synthy effect on the vocals, like it's being sung into one of those tinny echo microphone toys for kids. (Compare with this similar novelty track from Udio that absolutely nails it.)

Audio is tricky. Phase matters, in ways it doesn't for video.

Which fits very well with the bro country style.

I'm not sure if the message is that "memes" (as synecdoche for all political propaganda) are indeed at least at times effective, or that they never are because I'm way too clever to ever change my mind (or even think a bit about anything) because of slogans and influencers and bumper stickers. Everyone likes to boast that they are unaffected by (or simply able to ignore) advertising, and yet...

Yep, definitely modern country. Sounds like pretty much everything on the radio these days, for what little I accidentally listen to.

As an AI Language Model (I Can't Do That)

I wonder if people are using Udio to work through some stuff.
