Sadly, the mug shot of that rapper who was found with human remains in his stomach is not included. Entertaining link in any case, Dirjy.

Bill Gates and John Gotti are actually smiling in their mugshots. This guy, I think, is Marilyn Manson's long lost grandfather.

According to the ever-helpful Beeb:
"A Microsoft spokesman said that, to the best of Bill's recollection, the mugshot was taken for a 'stop-sign violation and he didn't have his drivers' licence with him.'"
The BBC report also says that Microsoft moved out of Albuquerque, NM -- where he was arrested -- because of recurrent problems with the law. No, not vice or narcotics (or fraud; that would be later): The traffic squad.

People ALWAYS look bad in DUI mug shots. They've been out drinking all night, and they've probably just finished weeping in the back of a squad car.

Nah... people look bad in mug shots for the same reason people look bad in drivers license/id card photos: bad lighting/camera and indifferent photographers.

Is it really a felony to steal somebody's meat in California?
Poor, poor Lindsey Blackledge. We hardly knew ye.

I can't remember where I'd read this, but I seem to recall rumours of an incident whereby the "player" was a little intoxicated, stopped at a construction site, and drove some equipment around, damaging, so I thought, his Porsche.
