Thanks for this and all your posts from Australia. It is so nice to read about ways that we can start to reverse the damage we've done to ecosystems. Here in California, we've just seen the completion of the Klamath Dams removal, something that should restore salmon habitat in addition to other critters, plants, etc. The local tribes are very involved in reseeding the exposed land with native plants so invasive species will have less of a chance to spread.
