Walk Like An Egyptian... Dog

Earlier this week, Paramotorist Alex Lang was flying around the Giza plateau when he spotted an unexpected sight - a dog frolicking on of the Great Pyramid barking at birds. Don't worry, the dog proved they knew what they were doing!

I saw this clip on TV earlier today and thought it was a lion.
A lion atop the Great Pyramid ... Yet another sign of the end times, I shrugged.
Glad to see it's a dog, not a god.

Doggos being utterly great doggos, 10/10, no notes.

This pup must be getting decent foods, because that would be a good calorie burn I bet!

Much impress. Very height. WOW.

Makes me wonder if other doggos have done it - maybe it's like a dare among teen dogs? "Hey, betcha can't climb all the way up there!"

There’s a difference?

Watching the dog come down I felt like this dog has done this before. I have a young St Bernard/Bernese who puts the mountain in mountain dog going up but coming down he takes his time finding a good path. Nice find!

Wow, I knew they were big, but watching the dog run down really puts them into scale.

I saw.that awhile ago -- it was amazing how fast it was tearing up and down and around without the slightest hint of caution.

My brain screaming over and over again "can I pet that dog?? CAN I PET THAT DOG??" when i see this.

I want to pet that dog

That's pretty much my brain with every dog. I'm absolutely the guy at the party with a beer in hand who's talking more to the dogs and cats than the people.

I thought the pyramids were a lot smoother than that even though I’ve read that there was originally a white facing stone layer which is now gone (to looters, as I understand).

That dog was running down like it knew exactly where it was going, and I suspect that there would be quite a few dead ends with a greater than comfortable drop to any next step down in the vast majority of random paths down from the top. It wouldn’t surprise me if dogs had superhuman pathway memories.

My mother sent this to me with the reassurance that her own dog, a master escape artist and climber, was indeed securely in the backyard that whole day.

This inescapably reminds me of my favorite Gary Larson dog cartoon: Hey Norton! … ain’t that your dog attackin' the President?.
