John Pound. Illustrator for over 400 Garbage Pail Kids, Meanie Babies, Silly CDs, Trashcan Trolls, and Wacky Packages. Find your Garbage Pail Kid name, then find your card in this gallery (Hopefully, before the Geocities site is overloaded. And it also shares a peculiar injoke MeFi address).
Trivia Fact for the day:
The Garbage Pail Kids were invented by respectable 'graphic novelist', and Maus creator, Art Spiegelman.

And also, here's a site for some of the Foreign cards if you're looking. I found the curious Stan Satan from the Jordan collection here.

Actually, upon further inspection, you can use that Foreign cards link from 100% GPK in case the geocities link goes down. I didn't even see the 'sticker fronts' link at the top of the series pages until now.

Loved the GPKs growing up, so thanks for the link! Anyone also remember/enjoyed those Wacky Packs ? Those were good, too.

If you really like Wacky Packs, do what I did--go to stupid.com where you can buy an old UNCUT sheet of 66 WackyPacks for $17. Mine's framed and hanging in front of me right now. Slaytex Living Gloves--fits necks perfectly! Raw Goo--uncooked spaghetti sauce! Land O Quakes--butter churned by earthquakes!

GaelFC: Or you could buy an uncut sheet of Series 1 Garbage Pail Kids. Starting at the low low price of $1500... and its owner thinks it's worth $50k! He's got some other interesting things to say too...

Ugh! I remember my first pack of GPK's, mostly because I got the one in the pack that was on the pack(Adam Bomb). I saw how cool these were and promptly affixed them to my Trapper Keeper so others could share in my joy. I realized the collectable potential by the third series...of which I had all of...or rather my 3rd grade teacher(who had confiscated them from me) did.

Also see this thread for more good links. Any site that makes use of the words whacky, madcap, or zany is all right in my book.

I had so many GPKs. Of course I had to have Rachel Rodent, but I'm curious to see Run Down Rachel from the New Zealand collection.

Seconded, whole-heartedly, even with my love of GPK's.
This guy's a loon.
His responses get a bit tamer, mockingly so... Think maybe ebay snarled at him?
