Advanced retail prices on web

Retailers, Web Sites spar over advance sales alerts. Some of the nation's largest retailers demand that consumer Web sites stop posting confidential information about upcoming sales. The case is raising questions about freedom of speech and the Internet. Who do you side with? I work for a retailer and have mixed opinions. (audio report from NPR.org)

Here's where the fatwallet.com fella explains why he decided to yank all the advance sales info under threat from MegaDeathStarCorp retailers. And here's the Yahoo group someone set up to get around it.
