furnish thy pad. pure design sells some of the best work from the new generation of designers...including douglas coupland (yes, *that* douglas coupland), karim rashad, and nick dine. and they sell it online. superbonus!
well, the nice part is that they're choosing their print media wisely. and they've got representative boutiques everywhere, so it seems like they're spreading themselves well. oh yeah, AND they're not trying to be al things to everyone.
but i wrote down the phone number and ordered a print catalog. just to be safe :)

This is most keen - but a bit expensive for poor folks like me. About all I can afford is that spiffy book holder.
How I covet it. No more balancing those design books on my knee!
