How I love Mutant Storm [demos available for Windows, Linux and, yes, Mac!]. It's amazing the dross that the big players can come up with while games like this aren't even available in the shops. Yay for the web, I say.
Couldn't get the hang of using the mouse. All-keyboard seemed to be the best for me, and the most Robotron-like. Double sticks would be ideal, though. Sigh..

People with powerful PCs really should turn on OpenGL antialiasing to smooth out the lines... RivaTuner is the way to go for those with NVIDIA cards.

I have to thank Radio shack for their Playstation to usb adaptor. The game appears to be much easy with a joystick rather than with the mouse/keyboard combo.

oh, hell yes! these guys rule. Space Tripper rocked my world with eyecandy and constant action. Was wondering what else they'd been brewing. OSX needs a few more good games - and if they come from small, independent setups like this, all the better.
Anyone seen the OSX release of Unreal Tournament 2k3 yet? didn't think so.

We've got top men working on it, Dr. Jones. Admittedly, few of these games are quite as Minterrific as the subject of the post, but we have to start somewhere.

It's a shame that more indie games don't get the press they deserve. My favorite indie game right now has to be Pontifex
