Joe Strummer Dies at 50. Not exactly what I was hoping to get for Christmas... I have a feeling that my wife is going to be quite sick of Sandinista! and London Calling after today...
Actually its the third in a trilogy of posts for those who have no radio, TV or newspaper subscriptions.
That being snarked, condolences to the poster for his loss.

Don't you people even scroll a half of a page down? How about looking at the entire page. Damm it's was even a triple post.

There is no way that you did a viable search on this topic. There are 2 other incidents of this same post on the front page!

To be fair, I also thought "Why didn't he search on Strummer?" -- but if you do, this is the only post that comes up. Which is because the previous poster didn't mention Strummer, only dying at 50. This is what comes of being cutesy in one's posts.
(Damn, Franco died? Why didn't anyone tell me?)

Fat Buddah - Jesus H. Christ is dead, too. Too bad. His birthday is coming up really soon.

. . . for those who have no radio, TV or newspaper subscriptions.
Who would need any of that stuff when we have MetaFilter? (But I already posted to this topic a few threads ago, so I'll leave now.)

Radio? TV? Oh, that brings me back. Newspapers. I though I was the only one who still remembered those things.
Anyway. Unlike the great Strummer (and you could argue Mr. Buddha [Non-Fat Version] and The Birthday Boy), Franco's work was definitely behind him when he shuffled off.
