365 audio nuggets

365 days of audio nuggets "For the entire year of 2003 this page will feature one mp3 a day to download. The content will focus on musical pieces, but will also include spoken word. Listeners of the incredibly strange and outsider realm take note, for this is the majority of material that will be made available." [via scrubbles by way of dollarshort]
Remember the July Metafilter threads discussing offbeat music (and I use the term "music" loosely)? Here's a site that plans to introduce us to a whole slew of strange new stuff this year. Thanks, Otis!

Yes, bandwidth consumption is a worry, but I e-mailed the fellow hosting the site before I posted the link and here's what Otis said:
"The bandwidth issue is a real one, but luckily later this week I'm switching to unmetered hosting (so no worries at all). A few days ago I was a bit worried about bandwidth, but now everything will be kosher."
So, I'm hoping he's not swallowed alive by this wonderful monster he's created.

Don't be surprised if you end up walking down the street and slowly start to go insane humming it.
They're not kidding. Wish I had read that first.
Excellent link. May his bandwidth flow forever.

How do I get this "unmetered hosting?" I also would like unmetered gas please, as it is winter.

The picks are really good so far. Otis Fodder is also a member (and producer) of those supersonic audio scavengers and recyclers, The Bran Flakes.
