if only i cared! both teams sucked. it was some of the worst football i've ever seen at that level. high school players could have done better on many plays. boring, stupid, *LAME*. to make matters worse, there was only one *really* funny commercial... the one with the guy tackling people at work. ah well, i care less and less about football every year...

Thank God the Bucs won. Muppetboy, just because Gannon would have played better if he'd stayed out of the game entirely doesn't mean you have to be sore about it.[/troll]

Man, Gruden vs the Raiders. Folks, I believe we've just had it conclusively demonstrated to us who the most valuable human in the game is.

Personally I agree with John Madden, though - Simeon Rice should have been MVP for his consistently amazing work in sacking Gannon.

The sky must be falling. I used to live in Tampa in the 70's and 80's, and the biggest joke of the city besides its overly ambitious futuristic airport (with 100-foot monorail) were the Tampa Bay Bucs. This is the same team that had a record-setting losing streak of 0-26 games. A team that for 12 consecutive seasons had double-digit losses. A team that just won the superbowl.

Congrats to 'em. Next thing you know, the Red Sox will win the world series... (ah, one can dream).
