"It was such a shame", said Mrs. Siggurdson, "I feel so guilty that I forgot to put her in the barn on account of Earl got drunk the night before and ran his car into a ditch on the way home from the Elks Club. She was such a fine milker and all. It's a shame." (as reported in the Lake Wobegon Daily Dispatch, of Lake Wobegon, Wisconsin, March 16th 1950.)
