Former Vice President Al Gore Joins Apple's Board of Directors Former Vice President, and inventor of the Internet, Al Gore has joined his first private sector board, and it is with Apple.
"Steve [Jobs] and his team have done an incredible job in making Apple once again the very best in the world," said former Vice President Al Gore. "I have been particularly impressed with the new Mac OS X operating system and the company’s commitment to the open source movement. And I am especially looking forward to working with and learning from the great board members who have guided this legendary company’s inspiring resurgence."
I soooo hope there will be a switch ad to go with this news.

Whatever. I give up. I use the MetaFilter search tool, wait for a week for it to return results: Nothing. The filter built in to MetaFilter to look for duplicate URLs also comes up dry. Then as I try to post I get a ColdFusion error. I edit my entry, hit "post" and poof the version from BEFORE my edits is displayed. *shrug*
Not worth it.
