surreality: the art of Naoto Hattori

Reality is beginning to seem more and more like Naoto Hattori's surreality; check the gallery and see if you agree. ("Money, Blunts, 40's And Bitches" just amuses me hugely - I think it's the "bitches".) I particularly like the "Extras" section, in which he reveals a bit of the process behind the paintings. (Plus, snowboards!)
Okay, NewBornHippy - I'm going crazy trying to remember what led me there, but I found the site via phong (I think Naoto is a contributor there), which came up as a result to some google search that I am now searching my mind to recollect... (If only there were Google-For-The-Brain!)

Note to self: browsing this gallery right before bed might not have been a wise idea.
We'll see.

Indeed. I really liked this one. It's almost hard to tell what's pigment, what's flesh.
How did you learn about him?
