There's some wonderful stuff in there. I am greatly pained by one thing, though: this image (from this page) is very familiar to me, but I can't remember what it's from. I've been digging around in the food packaging section but haven't found it yet. Do any of you recognize it?

That's me: Snorkeldorf, down in the corner. Yes!
I hated Freakies but ate plenty of them. Still, my collection is lacking the purple fellow. I have multiple vintage Googy-Goodies, if anyone wants to trade.

Looking at this stuff, (a topic near and dear to me), I'm amazed by one, how many of the products are still available and two, how many sound worth reviving.

iconomy - thanks; I'm looking but I haven't found another link with that little tiger picture. I know the Fruit Stripe zebra, but where's the tiger?

Good-and-Plenty sure hasn't changed much since 1949. They're vegan, too (no refined sugar). Choo choo!

Songdog - I really thought that tiger was from Yipes Stripes, but it's from Sour Bites.

This is great, hama7. Truly a wealth of fun stuff.
My only quibble is that images like this are too small to read the text - text which is the main reason the image is worth including. I know there are server space issues with something this comprehensive, but it's excruciating to get so close but still not be able to read the comic strip.

I sure wish I still had these three books. I paid a whole quarter for each of them, too, dammit!

Thanks, iconomy! That's the tiger - it's funny that I don't have any strong memories of the candy even though the packaging is so familiar.

Gosh, that's weird. I almost posted this last night, with my other toy thread....
But it's a repost.
