Snoring causes headaches

Snoring causes headaches..... according to recent research. I post this as I recall from a previous thread that some interest was generated from a post on migraine. I drove my GP mental then, trying to tell her how to do her job based on some contributions to mefi. Now I will be starting all over again.
Snoring causes headaches... in your partner. This we know for sure.

Yes, luser is correct, I should have stated .."suggests recent research" rather than according to.
Nevertheless as a chronic sufferer anything that might add to our sum of knowledge is interesting in and of itself.

Sleep apnea sure as heck causes them. Hubby quit having morning headaches as soon as we plugged him into a CPAP machine, affectionately known as the "nose hose".

So, aside from CPAP, does anything really work to prevent snorring? I think my wife might want to know.

Well, palate/tonsil/adenoid surgery, or part-time tracheotomies (capped during the day). I'm a tech at a sleep lab and an obstructive sleep apnea sufferer.

I'm fairly proficient snorer. However, I have NEVER, once, in my entire life, had a headache. None, nada, zilch.
Call it the luck of the neurological draw, but I do have occasional seizures. Have always wondered if there was a connection - or perhaps a few missing ones.
