First there was Jolt and now this. I refuse to speculate whether this is a spoof. If it is, it's a well-done one. (Is "Hemp Seed Oil" legal to possess in Arizona?)
Take a look at this image. I can't place my finger on it (duh) but the text seems kind not quite right.
As for the war on drugs, I'm glad I live in The Netherlands.

Hemp seed oil and hemp products are legal in the US. It just isn't legal to grow hemp in the US. Hemp is a plant that looks just like a marijuana plant, only without the THC. It's illegal only because it would be easy to grow hemp as a crop and hide marijuana plants in the mix.

I was under the impression that hemp and marijuana were really the same plant, and that the THC content was a matter of performing some particular step while growing the plant.

Really, the difference is in how you cultivate the plant. If you want to grow good kind bud, you separate the female plants and give them lots of light, space, and water. Then when they flower, they get all sticky and yummy waiting for male pollen.
On the other hand, if you want to grow hemp for seeds, you DON'T separate the males, because if you did, you wouldn't get any seeds! Duh.
And no, hemp seed doesn't have any THC in it.

As to the seeds having no drug content at all, I'm not so sure that's true. The bird-seed companies used to include hemp seeds in with their bird-seed mix because it tended to make the birds sing a lot (guess why).
The problem was that people were using them in outside bird feeders, and birds are messy eaters and the seeds tend to fall to the ground. And some would sprout, and suddenly you'd have little old ladies with marijuana plants growing in their yards.
So they stopped doing it. They probably could have sterilized the seeds by baking them, but I suspect that would have been too expensive.

That's total bullshit, man. You can still buy hempseed at feed stores. I personally bought a 50 pound bag a few months ago. Grind it up and it makes a great sandwich spread.
There's a federal exemption specifically for hemp seed, since canaries won't sing without it! The DEA sterilizes the seeds before they get to the feed store though.

ie: It contains hemp products, but it won't get you high.
I've seen similar products where I live (British Columbia) such as Hemp Ale and stuff...
As far as I know, pot seeds contain no THC, and are therefore legal... I hear they sell them in vancouver head shops...
Nonsense, this war on drugs is. Very interesting is logic the government uses...
