Steven Kowalczyk is now Steven Santoro. Great pop-jazz vocal music, and the definition of cool. Also of interest is Kate McGarry, whose recent album "Show Me" was produced by Steven Santoro. (more inside)

The most interesting thing about this to me is the interesting characters of this social network. An Asian female painter, an Italian photographer, and two cool as Hell lounge singers.

Kate McGarry's bio reads in part, "After a 3 year hiatus living in a meditation ashram, McGarry re-located to New York City in 1999 to continue singing."

I remember Steven Kowalczyk song "Mister Personality" (lyrics and audio clip on linked page) from public radio back in the 90s, but imagining the lives of these people was more valuable than remembering an old song. Playing the Rainbow Room, teaching public school kids jazz... It's like living on Mars compared to the lives of anyone I know.
