Which OS are you? I am Slackware Linux. This would make sense, if not for the fact that I use Win2K.

Amiga.
It'd be nice to see what answers give you each result listed. I love the result for FreeBSD(the OS of choice that I proselytize), "You're a speed demon and a great networker. You have a tendency to give it away for free. Well-respected, but virtually unknown."

I'm Palm OS, despite my loathing for all things Palm.

I don't know about this. . . I never liked the old Apple computers, and I don't like the new ones, still it's probably better than Windows ME.

At least they got the first syllable right.

Palm OS - steady and straightforward - my mother would like me to do more with my life, like my cousin Wince, but I'm ok with who I am. :D

OS X... not a chance. AIX maybe. \me throws another apple on the fire.

I would have preferred something like OS X, but I'm ok with this. I am.

I did this a while back and came up slackware linux too.
I was pleased. Not because the description was accurate (though it was), but because I'm starting to look like JR "Bob" Dobbs.

HP-UX.
Dependable. Well, that's just ducky. Where's a vampire Doppelganger when you need one?

I am slackware linux. That's nice. It has so much higher geek cachet than W2K and XP, which are the two OSes I actually use. Not that I like them particularly, but they are what I use. Ever few weeks I think to myself, gotta set up a linux box and remind yourself that you know how to use real OSes, but then I don't.

Seems pretty appropiate. I'm one of those people who would be happy to spend two hours figuring out a one hour solution to a problem that would normally take two hours to do.
I actually use Win98, but that's not so much a matter of preference as it is:
A. What I have.
B. What runs the programs I want to run.

Debian Linux
People have difficulty getting to know you. Once you finally open your shell they are apt to love you.
I took this awhile back, and felt at the time this was more nuanced than your average online personality test. It is kind of fun.

Bursh teeth, don't shave, don't shower, get to work late and not worry about it.

OS/2 Warp - hopeless! There should have been a "do you refer to your laptop by name, and stroke it lovingly when you think no-one's looking?" question. Oh well, at least it wasn't Windows.
