Man Sells Fake Bronze, Gets Paid With Fake Cash. From the You-Can't-Trust-Anyone-Anymore Dept.: "A Vietnamese man who used cow fat and paint to pass off a lump of iron as valuable black bronze found buyers, but was paid in counterfeit bills."
Sometimes, the whole cheques checks and balances thing works out and the bad guys get what is coming to them. Sometimes.

Reminds me of the story about the guy who got caught speeding with the automatic camera. They mailed him a ticket and a photo of his car. He mailed the police a photo of $200 cash. They mailed him a photo of handcuffs. He paid.
