Big Poppa E was a member of the San Francisco Poetry Slam team in 1999, which shared the National Title with the San Jose Slam team. He performed the Wussy Boy poem there. Both teams gave incredible performances, and that year was more or less the last really good year of poetry slam... ah... the memories...

Holy smokes. What a shitty "poem". Stuff like this gets acclaimed? Or is this some sort of "slam" poetry crap, where haste grants complete freedom to rise to the heights of almost-mediocre?
Being "sensitive" and, well, a wuss, doesn't automatically make you artistic or talented.
