Mefi.com officially drops from the domain registry tomorrow, meaning that it can be snapped up by anyone who has the right resources (of course you have no chance trying to manually register it). So, anyone on MeFi got the knowhow to grab it?
This post was deleted for the following reason: post it to metatalk
Looks like the domain was renewed on the 2nd as NetSol now shows an expiration of May 24, 2004... if it was to expire, some one already has a SnapBack order for the name.

SnapBacks are doing terrible, if it does expire, pool.com will probably get it; which means people can then bid for it.

And it will drop. Once it's in pending-delete it has to drop.
It says expiry 2004 as part of the drop routine, but rest assured it will drop tomorrow.

Nope :) I've seen NetSol do some weird things over the years, including holding active (paid for) domains in pending-delete status for over a year or when one is simply being transferred to another registrar.

...and yes, I am familiar with how the shared registry works. Don't know how NetSol does it but they do. :)
