Simon Cowell Made Love To Me

Simon Cowell Made Love To Me (via Record of the Day) Reality TV's campest pantomime villain, responsible in his day job as a music exec for many dire cash-in records, has himself become the subject of a novelty song. Its conclusion? "He was quite good".
It's like they're trying to build a meme from the ground up. I wish they hadn't.

"Someone pretending to be Simon Cowell is spamming the media this afternoon, with this email:
"Sorry for not calling - it's getting tough to find free time these days between photoshoots and hairstyling sessions. Thought I'd let you know that while searching the Web for mentions of my own name, I found this song called 'Simon Cowell Made Love To Me'! It has a disco beat - take a listen: http://simoncowellsong.tripod.com/. Speak soon, S."
It's sent from simon.cowelI@srecords.com. Which might all be rather more believable if Simon Cowell had any interest in the internet (or even a computer in his office), and if S Records actually owned srecords.com. The song itself? You'll like it if you think Tiga's 'Hot In Herre' is funny.
If you get a freesheet called Metro in the city where you live, this will probably feature in tomorrow morning's edition."
