The USA's WMDs and Their Deadly Fallout

"The depleted uranium being used in the Middle East is a repeat of the deception of Navajos, the abuse of the innocent. 'The United States government knew all along the uranium mining would kill Navajos....' said Badoni, among Navajos organizing opposition to further uranium mining on the Navajo Nation....declassified documents in the United States reveal that both the buyer, the United States government, and Ottawa, then the world's largest supplier, withheld information from Native miners that could have saved their health and their lives."
The ongoing, deadly fallout in a certain nation where development (and use) of weapons of mass destruction has never been in doubt.

They tested LSD on unsuspecting citizens too. I guess some experiments were more fun than others.

Fallout from A-bomb testing may have killed John Wayne and others involved in the filming of The Conqueror.

Yeah, John Wayne as Genghis Khan. Of course, a just God could have punished him for bad acting alone--

Wow, depressing story f&m. The folks in Paducah have some very bad uranium tales to tell too. Maybe the Navajo can get Bechtel to help them with the clean up like they did for Paducah.
Unless Bechtel is too busy raking in dough in Iraq.

They tested LSD without people's knowledge? How'd they pull that one off? Wouldn't people get suspicious after they realize that they just spent ten minutes watching a movie in a wood-grain table?

Actually, the LSD experiments proved to be not as much fun as one would hope.

It's a pretty damning accusation. Are you OK with 'The United States government knew all along the uranium mining would kill Navajos....' ? Would you care to explicitly defend what the government did to the Navaho if that statement is true, jammer? And, if so why? Why is it morally acceptable to you?

"Members of the Navajo Nation have been cheated out of tens of millions of dollars of trust revenue by the Secretary of the Interior who, in concert with major oil & gas companies, has permitted them to profit from sweetheart deals for rights of way across the Indians' individual trust lands in the West, a court official said today."

Frankly, if the Navajo get to sue, everyone should get to sue, because you all got screwed.
