Truly extraordinary photographs. The photographer's use of light in her portraiture is reminiscent of Rembrandt's.

Spectacular. Apropos of her religious photos: it's not at all a bad thing for those of us in the West to be confronted by images at once so alien and yet so intensely human...

I like the subjects and the composition (although neither aspect breaks any new ground) but the colorizing gets on my nerves. Overproduced. Some shots remind me of those cheesey colorized James Dean/Marilyn Monroe post cards they sell in music stores.
