This is absolutely one of my favorite web sites. I've had this URL bookmarked on my computer for well over a year (maybe two?). It's simply one of those weirdass web things that defies explanation. It simply cannot be appreciated without seeing it. The page is truly demented. What are you waiting for? Geez!
I loved it. The tone, the idea...its right up there with the works of Crispen Hellion Glaver.
Brilliant!

Here's what my grandfather said after reading this website : "guess maybe you remember me telling you about a fellow at LTV who used to do this as a hobby. He got to go to Japan all expenses for a gigantic huge fly powered airplane fly off. He was doing this about the time you were born, he was eve on local tv. wow"

It took all day, but I finally got it to work, and man are those flys pissed! I have to smash it now, too dangerous to have it flying around near my instant matter transporter. Just alittle it flew into the machine while I was transporting to the basement, and now I don't feel so good.

Freaky stuff. Reminds of primary school, where you did horrific things to insects with your friends, and then regretted it afterwards. Is this a one off page, or is there more?

I used to do this with two by fours and passenger pigeons.

It's a one-off, I suspect. The domain belongs to Bobby Rodriguez, who runs Matchmaker. I have a sneaking suspicion that page is there as bait; if you apply Ashworth's Law, you'll drill up to a redirect to the splash advertising page.

Flypower.com is a whole site dedicated to the hobby of building and flying insect-powered aircraft.
