PerusingPurses

One of my guy friends (the one that has the best luck with the ladies, actually) carries a psuedo-purse. It's about the same size but it's an army satchel which makes it cool. So I guess if I just bought a huge leopard print purse and covered it over with burlap i'd be in the money!

Guys + bags = sexy. Especially those cute messenger bags, with the strap slung so it crosses over their chest. Reminds me of the paper boy, or something. Cute!

"why can't it be OK for us guys to finally carry purses?"
Use a camera bag. Plenty of space, lots of cool pockets, adjustable compartments, built for rugged use. No one gives it a second look and you get to have all your stuff with you.

Those purses obviously do not belong to real women as they do not have nearly enough junk in them. The owners of the purses must have had prior warning and emptied 90% of the contents out first.
iconomy, you should be ashamed of yourself, lusting after the paper boy ;-)

I second the motion that the camera bag works well as a "guy purse," but the de facto male equivalent to the purse is, of course, the briefcase.

Women have to carry handbags as most of our clothes don't have any pockets - I suppose designers think it spoils the line or something!
I agree with dg - no real woman has a bag that tidy. Where's the three month's worth of old till receipts and credit card slips? Where's the stuff for everyday emergencies - sticking plasters, nail file, antiseptic cream, can opener, folding corkscrew, etc? Where's the mini-pack of tarot cards - what, doesn't everyone carry one of those?!

i was surprised at how few had pens. but maybe you don't need pens when you have designer makeup? huh.

I frequently have my hair up with a pencil, thus rendering pen-in-purse unecessary.
