PandaCam: Bai Yun’s cub(male) is big enough that now there’s something to see on the webcam in her birthing den at the San Diego Zoo. She’s quite the attentive mother and he’s becoming quite the wiggly baby. You can also view videos here.

lobakgo, thank you so much for posting this. I don't care how much of a wimp it makes me appear to be, I love watching the little guy. (I was fortunate enough to spend several weeks in China several years ago and despite the amazing archeological and historial sites I was taken to, nothing compares to the morning I spent at the Beijing Zoo, hanging out by the panda habitat. I've had a real soft spot for them ever since...)

Glad you guys are enjoying it. Oddly enough, one of the neatest things I've seen is when she gets him settled and nursing (she sits up to do this with her legs splayed), she waggles her foot at the ankle in a very hum-dee-dum way. JollyWanker--you lucky, lucky person. Color me green.
