Church sign generator. Crank out your own roadside platitudes.

Uh, Howard, it's good, but not that good.
Too bad one can't put something up and then link it to one's comment. I had a inexcusably juvenile one I wanted you all to see.

Be sure to also look at his church signs page (if you haven't seen it before) for some great real signs.
Y'know, some Baptist church will be shocked when they see their sign with MeFi created messages on it!

The link has been up for over a half-hour now, so I'm sure we have all already done
WHAT.
THE.
FUCK.
GOD?
so there's really no reason for anyone to save a picture of it and link to it.
On preview: too late!

Meanwhile, down here in Houston, (middle of page) we've got two pastors going at it via their church signs. My favorite so far? "EXPOSING MODERN CHRISTIANITY FOR THE STEAMING PILE OF YAK POOP THAT IT IS". Amen to that.

It was strangely satisfying to view.

My favorite lameass, juvenile, pre-driver's license caper was when some friends and I rearranged a real church sign from
BINGO SATURDAY NIGHT
to
GO SATAN
It seemed pretty clever at the time.

I hereby proclaim this "link of the year". Uh, Howard, it's good, but not that good.
Maybe not, but playing with the link (and reading the signs above) made me laugh harder than anything else so far this month. Thanks ChuqD (and Ryland).
And speaking of Ryland, let's not forget the other real church signs he linked us to last month.

COBRA! - you jogged memories of the night in 1976 when a sign in a men's store parking lot that read
SPORTCOATS $69.95 & UP
magically became
SPORT O CUNT $69.95
(date recalled because it was the bicentennial that summer)

Aww yeah, when I was fifteen we rearranged a church sign that read MIDLOTHIAN CHURCH OF GOD to MIDLO CUNT OF GOD.
Like, totally ha ha ha..

you know people, it states right under the submit button that he is blocking external referrers to prevent bandwidth abuse. you cannot link directly to the finished image page or the finished image. you have to save it, move it to your own webspace, and link it there.

There's a funeral home sign within a block of my house.
"Where Dedicated People Care"
I'm always tempted to break out the duct tape and change it to
"Where Ded People are"
...but that'd be tacky. Sigh. If only I were 16 again, there'd be no limits.

Mine was "We're praying for Skallas!", but it just doesn't look as funny here on the blue as it did on the sign. Try it yourselves and you'll see.
