Gaming for the mature

Gamegeezers A new forum for the mature gamer. As the site says "... the new community for the "not so young" gamer. The reason we're setting this forum up is to provide a home for the great many of us gamers out there who are old enough to remember the beginning of this phenomenon known as gaming and are still going to be at it for the rest of our days.
You will find no whiney teenage flamers here. Just a good wholesome community of GameGeezers who wouldn't admit to knowing what "l33t" meant if their life depended on it. "
I'm guessing boredom, and the need to eat.

And here I was thinking that this was for the crew that had the "gamer" monniker first: pen and paper roleplayers.
My bad.
Also, can I just say how much the whole message board meme irritates me? The fucking smiley faces, the animated icons, the sig files on each and every post, massive pics in sig files, etc. Goddamned kids, ruining the Internet, I tell you!! [/crotchety old bastard rant]

And before the RPG gamers (self included), there were the Grognards.

As a gamer since "Pong" who fondly remembers the days of Nintendo Tecmo Super Bowl (but not that fondly), all I can say is, about time.

I don't need another site for this since Digital Press and Atari Age keep me busy. NECG is also always there for actually meeting the people, getting drunk, and playing old video games...
