Stickee - taking the corporate tour to heart

Stickee is a British design firm that takes the concept of the corporate tour literally. It's rather fun to explore and the site detail is impressive. (note: flash site and pop-up stoppers need to be disabled to take the tour.) via One's Web.
That was really, really impressive until it screwed up. Kudos to them for producing something in Flash and DHTML that actually runs in Firebird, as well. It's just a shame about that one bug I found, which meant I was stuck on the 1st floor forever.

You are not using a Mac or PC! This site works best on a PC running Internet Explorer 6At which point clicking the continue link gives you a file not found error. Consider me unimpressed. Anybody remember when the web was platform independent?

I sure wouldn't hire them. The site map isn't labelled or linked to the content!? I guess that's to make sure people can't navigate the site quickly and easily without exploring the little Flash movies and finding the hidden buttons.
Does it not occur to these dorks that the more money a potential client has to hire them with, the less time they're likely to spend wanking around with their Web site looking for information?
There's more to Web design than Flash and DHTML.

but nicwolff, didn't you even think it was fun to make the little guy pee in the bathroom on the first floor, or to watch those teeny tiny little movies ;-)

no. but to quote another net geezer, it's still "the most worthwhile gimmick mankind has created in a long while." :-)
