Pootie Tang Screen Test

Pootie Tang Screen Test is an amusing four-minute video that includes a kick from Capoeira (images), a Brazilian Martial Art previously mentioned here. If you liked the screen test, you may enjoy the movie or the trailer.
I can't say it was as awesome as Pootie dodging bullets and bouncing them back with his hair, all the while dancing to Master P singing, "Make'em say ugh!"..
But that was still pretty awesome.

To me Capoeira seems pretty much useless as a fighting technique, but can work wonderfully as a way to build enourmous amounts of strength, fine motor control, and balance. Plus, it's a great way to show off!

Oh my god, avoid this movie at all costs. My girlfriend somehow, inexplicably, loves it, and forced it on me. I've never come closer to breaking up with her than when she did that.

my damies, i saw pootie tang in the theater.
I was laughing my ass off as the few other people in the theater walked out.
I knew then that my love for this movie was deranged but I also knew I was not alone.
Well, actually I was alone. But now I know I'm not alone.

"To me Capoeira seems pretty much useless as a fighting technique"
Capoeira isn't meant to be strictly a fighting technique. Capoeira is a dance, a fight, a game, and to many a way of life. What happens in the roda (circle) mimics life. Sometimes you play the other person nicely, sometimes playfully, sometimes serious, and sometimes violently. The goal of each games isn't to win, lose, or tie. The goals change and at times are extremely complicated just like life. Also what most people don't know is that capoeira is mostly the music. This is what provides energy to everyone, not the people playing in the middle. For more information about capoeira, especially capoeira angola go to capoeira-angola
