Collaborative Novel Writing

I was looking at that, and it has some decent writers associated with it. 58 Hours to write a novel seems a bit short to me, but then again I never wrote a novel at all so what do I know.
Perhaps the writers can try to get someone to sponsor them per word for charity, so something good comes from this except for tired writers and fast written books. (and eternal glory of course)
