The Adventures of Lacey Brazeer. [Yet Another] Feminist comic strip. Courtesy, unsurprisingly, of Charlotte. I found this screamingly funny; YMMV.
Some people are questioning just how feminist this really is.

i'm shocked, SHOCKED that women.com has something that might be offensive to women on its pages.
no, really.
it pains me that crap like this gets money from hearst while lynda barry sees her strip-collection books go out of print (although 'the greatest of marlys' just came out). it doesn't surprise me -- the publishers of cosmo being insulting to women? this is new how? -- but it sure as hell is dispiriting.

That stupid strip reminds me of some sort of "feminist" (note the sarcastic quotes) version of a Chick tract comic. Bleh.

I like how the superhero accuses the boss of "judging women by their bodies" when in previous panel she says "you want to explain why you promoted a new pair of breasts over your most qualified employee?"
Um, hello Pot? It's Kettle. You're black.

this sort of thing only stirs animosity between the sexes, which is *not* what feminism is (should be??) about. Lacey Brazeer is about as feminist as "euuuu, boy cooties!"

I dunno; maybe my tastes in humor are getting more lowbrow with age... I still hate Benny Hill, FWIW.
As for "supermammary", I hadn't noticed that the cartoon drawings showed her looking all *that* big...

It's not even a good comic. Bad design. It reads like a stunted newspaper strip.

maybe a response strip is called for: Captiain Prostate! A colourful comic book designed to deal with all prostate related issues!
SEE Captin Prostate finger another man's anus!
THRILL as he he helps a man without a prostate cum!
"Guggling gorilla's! I can see with my x-ray vision that John's prostate has grown into a cancer the size of a fist! Must. Get. Callipers... Mustn't. Black. Out..."

FWIW, I think this comic is about as feminist as Phyllis Schlafly.
